Obstetrics 

I provide an obstetric service at Sunnybank Private Hospital, Brisbane. I have a very simple philosophy in regard to obstetric care, that is, one of safety for both mother and baby. A healthy mother and baby is my number one priority and I base my clinical practice on this premise.

I have a photo board in my rooms where families can place a picture of their newborn baby. It helps keep me passionate about providing the quality of care that earns trust. It is a great privilege to be involved in delivering babies and to be part of such a special time for women and their loved ones.

My involvement with obstetrics includes not only delivery of babies, but also care during pregnancy and after delivery.

The Sunnybank Private Hospital Maternity Unit provides antenatal and birth education classes for first time parents. A physiotherapy education session is also organised by the hospital. Information about these classes is available by contacting the Maternity Unit. I certainly encourage first time parents to consider attending these classes.
